"STUNT ACTION TEAM” offers the best stunt performers from Croatia and Slovenia. All our team members are highly trained professionals with significant industry experience from some of the biggest world action movies.
The entire team is specialized in performing various demanding action scenes. Stunt Action Team is an international team based in Croatia and Slovenia and we offer services worldwide for various size productions, both domestic and foreign. Our core team is able to do a complete preparation for any kind of production, including the coordinating of stunt action scenes. When working internationally, our core team is strengthen with our best stuntmen, but we also value local stuntmen and include them within the project to make it cost effective for the production. We have a continuous collaboration with some of the best local film productions and we are building the same relationship with the international partners.
What we offer is a different approach from classic stunt teams from our region. Our core team approaches every project with a deep understanding and analysis of a script and what comes next is a creative approach and a process of creating ideas which will bring the story to a higher level and make it interesting for the audience. Our main goal is to support the actors to develop their character and express their emotional journey through action scenes. Together with the director, we’re constantly looking for the solutions and a way how to make action scenes which correspond to the director’s vision.
OUR SERVICES
We offer a variety of stunts including fight scenes, weapon handling, squib explosives, swordsmanship, falls, high falls, water jumps, burning, precise and stunt driving, truck and military vehicles, working with horses, water stunts, jet skis and boats, diving, rigging, stunt actors and other standard stunts.
Previsualization
Our core team is among rare teams from the region that specialized in complete preparation of the action scenes for the film and TV show, but also for music videos, commercials and various production demands. The art of previsualization is a cinematographic process that shows the visual aspects of a scene in advance. It is important because it presents ideas that help to discuss, find solutions and improve the approach before the shooting of the action scene begins.
Action design
We are proud of our team of experts who serve the director to achieve his creative vision and make his action scenes a reality. Our team is at service during the complete project to design great action for the project: previsualization, animation, storyboarding, concept work for the action scenes, preparation and training for the actors, editing, fight scenes etc.
SWAT team & Tactical advise
The core team consists of active and former police - military special operatives that have more than 25 years of experience dealing with demanding tasks and situations. Their expertise is essential when creating real military action scenes: formations, transitions, moving, rappelling, helicopter work, etc. Our team is trained to adapt to all the conditions and tasks that include weapon handling and demanding military tasks for film and TV.
Training for the action
Our core team approaches each project thoroughly. After scouting the location where the scene will be filmed, the core team prepares the entire action in accordance with the safety conditions. In designing fight choreography, we offer several solutions to help the director and the producers to bring the idea and vision of the action scene closer to the audience. When rehearsing with the actors, we take care of their safety and ability to perform certain tasks.
Choreographing the fight
Stunt Action Team expertise is in creating the fight scenes adapted to the script. Every fight choreography has to have its own story and meaning. For that reason, we pay special attention to developing characters and to understand the real reasons that triggered the fight. Our mission is to make audience interested in being part of the story and to identify with the main character in the fight scenes.
Coordinating action scenes
Stunt Action Team consists of experienced coordinators who worked on numerous film TV projects and commercials. We offer the complete service and support when coordinating your action scenes during the whole project from pre-production to post-production.

TRAINING FOR STUNT PERFORMERS AND ACTORS
Actors and stunts are invited to undertake additional training with our team of experts from various stunt segments. Foremost, we will estimate current skill level and adjust and track attendees development to reach certain level of quality. Systematic work of our team of instructors will help them master the skills that are necessary in filming different action scenes. Everyone can choose to specialize in the skills they want and through intensive training greatly improve their performance. They will learn about safety on set, different falls, how to fight for camera, handling weapons, working with horses, action on the sea, fencing, driving cars, repelling, etc. The education is adapted for the beginners and additionally tailored for those who are experienced in film and TV. Our training centers are located in Croatia - Poreč, Zagreb, Osijek and in Slovenia - Ljubljana.
CREATING A STUNT DEMO REEL
One of unique services we provide is making of your demo reel. Every serious stuntman nowadays has one and it’s important that coordinators can see it, so they have the insight in the skill level and can easier track progress. Demo reel is a short film consisting of great action scenes from the previous work or intensive training sessions. Stunt coordinator is able to get clear insight into your skills and how you look and behave in front of the camera. We will train you to accentuate your best skills and how to cope with demanding scenes. Great demo reel is short, fast and interesting to watch and no longer than 100 seconds.
LICENSING OF STUNT PERFORMER
Every stuntman beginner needs to be trained to work on film and this means that they’re acquiring knowledge, undertaking training and experience working on the set. In order to be able to fulfill the conditions of working on the film and TV, it’s necessary to fulfill the requirements in the assessment, which is the basis for progress and development of required skills. Every novice stuntman must go through several stages in his progression to become a stuntman and work under the same conditions as long-time stuntmen.
FILMING "BEHIND THE SCENES"
Filming "behind the scenes" is the creative service that includes footage during the shooting of the project, crew, set and preparatory activities. Our team provides "behind the scenes" filming services with a top-quality camera and an experienced videographer who will take high-quality photos and videos for the production without disturbing the set. Our team will record unusual events on the film covering everything from wide to close-up. The content of the footage created "behind the scenes" is invaluable and useful because it provides an insight into candid moments on the set, creativity behind certain scene and the way the project develops.
PREPARING ACTORS FOR THE FILM
Every actor who will participate in the action scenes needs additional knowledge and they are encouraged to contact our professional team to learn the skills to perform in the scenes. During the training tailored specially for the actors, we implement a demanding action performance and help them to use their film technique while working on the character and how to deliver emotion that will improve the given scene. We also offer private training, where the actors will learn the required technique and thus improve their skills for the upcoming projects.
STUNT DOUBLE
A stunt double is a person who performs exciting and dangerous action scenes in place of an actor in a film or television program. Within our team, the stunt doubles go through special training in order to contribute to the originality of their performance with their movements and understanding of the film's story. Although there are many stunt doubles who specialize in only certain skills, it is still necessary for a stunt double to have a wide range of skills in order to quickly adapt to the demands of the performance. Their movement must be convincing and realistic, and through additional training they should bring their skills to the level of top performance. Our stuntmen have doubled well-known actors such as Andy Garcia, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, etc.
